Works great with 2020 Audi Q5

Selected not to remove floor panels to access oil drain plug. The extractor came with two different tubes with different diameters. The smaller and longer one worked well and was long enough to reach the bottom of the oil pan. Run the car for about 5 minutes to warm up the oil and manually dismantling it took 5 minutes and maybe 15 pumps. It turned out that due to a slight incline in my garage, about 95% of the oil came out of the sump and not 100%. Otherwise it worked exactly as described and…

Great at soaking up liquids

This thing is a beast. I used it to drain gear oil from an AV gearbox on a boat. Water got into the gear oil and it took on the consistency of toothpaste - very thick. I used it in manual mode and it worked. It was slow due to the thickness of the liquid, but it worked great. I used to use a Mityvac manual vacuum pump that pulled out about 1 ounce every 3 minutes or so. This pulled out about a quarter of the toothpaste liquid in a few minutes. I then flushed the gearbox several times with clean

Check before use - two annoying problems.

Well built and good suction. One big thing is missing - graduations on the canister. There are divisions on the inner cylinder of the pump, but they are absolutely useless. I think they're clearly visible in the picture, but they're a bit hard to read when the pump is out of the canister and certainly unreadable when it's in place. I made my own graduations on the canister by removing the lid and pouring in a liter of water at a time, then writing on it with my PTouch label printer. It was a…

Confused customers leave false reviews. Good product.

I used it to drain oil from my 409 in a boat. This worked as expected, but there are a few caveats that people seem to be complaining about. Assembly: There is a large open head threaded nut that fits into the vacuum adapter hole. People who can't assemble it try to use this nut to attach a vacuum hose (5ft long with rubber o-rings on the big end) to a canister. The nut is only _used_ to break the vacuum seal if you cannot disconnect the vacuum hose from the tank. When you unscrew it, the hose…

Didn't have to jack the car BUT

I bought this because I really hate getting under the car on a hot day (Subaru WRX 2018). I will, but I don't really like it when it's not on the platform. Coming to the construction: very strong. Very well done. There were no problems with leakage, suction or leakage. And it was very easy to drain the old oil from the container into the empty oil tank. Next we talk functionality: as said, all you do is insert a hose into the dipstick and it sucks oil out of the oil pan and so on. I drove the…
