Did I receive a bad batch? you study it.

Have been using this product for many years. However, my last purchase of 50 labels in September 2021 had a major adhesion issue. At first I thought I was being labeled with unusually complex labels. However, I have now come to the conclusion that the product is much worse than what I have used before. I also received two packs of 25 labels in a transparent box, no box. I found it unusual. What's going on here? Hope they fix it. UPDATE: Oenophilia responded to my criticism and returned the…

Great product with experience

It took a couple of bottles to get consistent results but I can say that after trying some nameless removers bought off Ebay (and subsequently returned) this is this Best is what I know. help, especially around the edge with a sharp, clean X-Acto knife. Some labels are lighter than others, so move slowly and away from your hands. After laying the laminate, wipe the entire surface vigorously. If time allows, allow to set slightly and hold together, go over again with the back of the spoon, then…

Just as good as Wine Enthusiast

I've been using Wine Enthusiast liners for years and they work just as well. The labels in the 50-pack are the same size but slightly thicker. That's about 1/3 the price of buying a pack of 50. I used them the same way as the others, using a spoon along the edge I want to lift from. I then lay the backing sheet edge to edge and then smooth it out with the back of a spoon to make sure it's secure. I slowly pull from corner to corner on my front edge. If all goes well, I'll slowly peel off the…

Works great for me. Here's the secret to lifting labels

Okay I'm a big fan of these label lifters since I managed to remove some labels from bottles in a restaurant. However, photographing them is a kind of art. Here's what I do and it works (almost) every time. Fill the bottle with hot water and rinse the label with hot water. Be careful not to overdo it or it will start to discolor and peel, but just enough to loosen. Pour out the water and lightly dry the label. Place the label lifter as level as possible and roll it from side to side. Now the…

Patience is key.: Restaurants & Entertainment

I've been using these label lifters for years and I find them to be the best way to preserve labels on wine bottles (or anything else). However, you MUST follow the instructions carefully. Be careful and precise when applying the lift and go over it several times with a spoon. I've found that once you've applied the lift, it's best to set the bottle aside for a few days, maybe with a spoon every now and then (just do it while you're watching TV or whatever). Then start to pull very lightly and…

A fantastic alternative to saving whole bottles!

Actually I brought this item twice for my bottles and once as a gift for a friend's wife to get rid of the bottles she kept because of the label. Full disclosure, I was terrible at it. . I made a few test bottle labels that didn't work for me. It's gone bad. So I asked a friend who honestly had more patience and a better mind than me to help me. Holy cow, she's great at it. There are 50 labels in the box and I believe she used 60-70 with zero "failed" or missing spaces. She has even…
