🔧 Omix-Ada 12420.02 Headlight Retaining Ring: Ensuring Perfect Headlight Stability Review

My son in law had a loose headlight due to broken screw tabs on the original retaining ring. This replacement fitted perfectly and was easy to install. Looks and feels like the original. highlighted.

Well, the quality of the ring is normal. One problem, I mean the problem is that the tabs don't have an oval where the head of the screw goes. It's just a slot. So I go into battle trying to hold the headlight in place while trying and hoping the screw doesn't fall off the torx driver. Nothing is easy, even if you pay for it. Much luck!

On my '97 Jeep Wranger, the left eyelet used to hang out of the socket most of the time. There are too many sets of washboards lying on the mountain roads and the stem retaining ring has been completely disconnected. I ordered two of these retaining rings for my Jeep TJ, both were badly damaged by the manufacturer. there. The tongues are tack welded so this is a manufacturing issue and not a missing parts issue. The other retaining ring has all 4 screw lugs but they are misaligned! You are seconds. Whatever it was, they're still in the trash. I have ordered a replacement, I hope they are at least useful.
