Great replacement part!

This replacement part is exactly what I needed to keep my vacuum working efficiently. According to my experience, it is easy to install and fits perfectly. The build quality is great and it made my vacuum feel like brand new again. The only downside is that it is a bit expensive compared to other replacement parts in the market.

Pros
  • Easy to install, perfect fit, great quality
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other options

No magnet, not good!

Yes, will fit the models listed, but all modern Oreck XL stands use a sphere magnet in the reel. Without a magnet, the vacuum will turn off as soon as you turn it on because the sensor thinks the roller isn't installed or the belt is broken. So unless you're willing to take the magnet out of your old reel and drill a new reel to accommodate the magnet, it won't work.

Pros
  • Convenient item
Cons
  • Minor issues

Great for Oreck vacuums

This replacement Oreck vacuum brush works well. The old brush did NOT fall apart. I just felt like it was old and in need of replacement so I replaced it with this one. This has been working fine for about a year now. The original lasted about three years with no sign of weakening and was just dirty so I replaced it. The exchange was relatively easy. I also cleaned my oreck while on it. I would recommend Orek to friends or family members.

Pros
  • There's something to that
Cons
  • Vulgarity
