Quality, size and functionality

This turned out to be a great purchase as the quality, size and functionality for catching liquids during preparation was very good. We are moving away from plastic in the kitchen as far as possible and were surprised that it is such a beautiful bamboo. I think we will buy a few more for our kids who have moved into their own apartments and dorms. Excellent purchase!

Ideal. good size Good quality.

Exactly what is presented. I've only had it for a few months but it seems to last a long time. I try not to buy crap and it definitely isn't. The fact that it is bamboo with its antimicrobial properties is also a plus. Infected wood has always pissed me off, but I didn't want my knives to be affected. Very happy. Just keep dry. Don't soak

It's heavy and looks very strong. The lifetime warranty is a clear selling point.

I have used this board with my chef's knife and I really like the sound of that knife on this board. It's perfectly weighted for its size and looks premium. Easy to clean - bamboo boards should not be washed in the dishwasher. A little effort to make it last a lifetime. Additionally, the lifetime guarantee against cracks or chips is definitely some much-needed peace of mind!

ALREADY SHARE! (REDACTED - please read again)

Shipped to me on June 9, 2019. Split already. (see photo) I take care of my things. I don't soak it in water, I clean it properly, oil it and wax it with cutting board cleaner. I am extremely disappointed. EDIT: 8/30/19 KAWAIIAN KITCHENS saw this review and immediately exchanged the cutting board. I consider this excellent customer service and am changing my rating from 1 to 4 stars. I'll let you know if it holds up. Many Thanks.

Good board, also for unconventional uses

I bought this board to replace a much smaller cutting board. It is of good quality and easy to use. I currently use it on my collapsible steel plate underneath the VitaMix to muffle the table's loud rattling during operation. Although not designed for this purpose, it does the job well. I will most likely be purchasing another of these boards to use as a proper cutting board instead of the smaller board I was originally planning to replace.

SUPER NICE BOARD! - Cutlery & Knife Accessories

When I was looking for bamboo boards, I liked the size, quality and thickness of this product. 3/4 inch seemed like a good idea versus 3/8-1/2. When I oiled the board for first use I noticed 2 small imperfections on the top surface. I contacted Kawaiian customer service and they sent me a new card. They were super responsive and professional. So far we have used the board several times and I like it. I would buy additional boards if they were different sizes. The most important thing in my kitchen!

This cutting board is phenomenal. It's durable, well built, perfectly sized and comfortable to use. I use it to cook all types of food and I usually use both sides. This particular size is perfect for my kitchen sink, allowing me to cut food and place it in a bowl in the second sink. It cleans easily. I've also noticed that my knives don't need to be sharpened as often as with a fiberglass cutting board. After almost a year of use, it remains durable and looks good. About once a week I brush it
