Works very well. On my arai with holes for the brows, which is what the cutouts are for, I had to trim it a bit and then everything was perfect. Everyone is different and this should work for everyone as it's big enough so shorter is easy. I used regular scissors to snip it off a bit from the vent side so I can lift it higher if I remember, but it's easy once you try it on.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • No instructions

Some modifications required

Not just plug and play. I put on sunscreen as instructed and headed out. I strained my eyes to see through the strip and finally opened the protective mask to see clearly. Even on my seat bikes (FTR1200 and Hypermotard) I had to open the shield to avoid looking over the road on my Arai. At the moment I have removed the strip and need to trim it but was hoping for the price it would fit properly without trimming.

  • Best in class

Inexpensive, effective anti-glare

It was a little tricky to put this on and get rid of all the air bubbles, I guess the screen had to be removed first but managed it on the second try. You can undercut it a bit if you find it's not in your preferred line of sight. Works very well and is an inexpensive replacement for a fold down sun visor. This seems to prevent the transition lenses of my glasses from darkening, so I find it necessary to wear sunglasses in combination with this for better protection.

Sunscreen lives up to its name

This product is essential for reducing glare from the early morning and evening sun. It's even good for reducing glare at other times of the day. I love the simplicity and effectiveness of this product. Fits perfectly on my Arai helmet and was easy to fit. Another interesting aspect of the product is that the bottom rim of the sunblock offers a visual check of the orientation of the head in relation to the horizon when rotated. Very useful for getting a feeling for the right steering angle in…

Adhesive paper: Helmet visors

Somewhat vague instructions on how long to wait for the plastic sticker to peel off the back. Where the instructions say "warm" water, it means almost hot water. Once the plastic separates from the paper backing, the strip rests on the screen, but removing all the small bubbles can take some effort. Since I had an issue with the paper sticking to the sticker, my setup was far from perfect. I've used the film without cutting it and found it a little high for my Arai, but I'm not inclined to…

just carved better Helmet visor

Replaces my original review. It dawned on me to just crop it. Yeah right? I thought scissors would do. I put it on paper, on a pressed board and cut it out with a paper knife. The cut looks a little jagged here and there, but it's too small for me to notice when wearing it. But not only did I cut it to fit, I also made it a bit shorter just like I wanted it to. Counting? I placed the strip on the inside of my Quantum X's clear SunShield visor. Yes, it now sits directly on top of the anti-fog…

Check out the haircut!

I've had a hell of a time with this product when it finally stuck and wouldn't peel off when opening and closing the screen, the tint on the screen was too low, it was especially uncomfortable driving on randomly shaded ones areas and dangerous visual impairments when dusk and darkness set in. I had to keep my shield almost fully open so the shade would be less of a hindrance instead of having fun on a cold freeway drive home after sundown. To attempt. I visually noted where the placement…
