Original Magellan Vehicle Roadmate Navigator Review

Bought this hard to find fork size for my road mate Magellan. Nice light blue glow when you turn it on so you can tell if it's on when you turn it on. Perfect, love it.

It gets hot but it stays on. Fell apart due to poor workmanship/materials on the threads in the cigarette lighter socket but still worked after gluing together.

I bought this for a good price but it doesn't fit my Magellan 1700 Roadmate. I can't understand why not. The part number matches the Magellan part number, but the plug is too narrow and short and will fall out of the socket. Looking at the socket (marked + and - to indicate polarity) I see that the hole is for a larger plug and the positive pin is pushed back in the hole a good half inch or more, but these plugs are plenty shorter and narrower.
