Bought for skiing. It's heavy, warm and well made. The water-repellent material is ideal for snow. I would say the size is too big for me. I think it will be ok with the layers underneath but if you are between sizes I would recommend sizing down.

The review said that the size is a little big, I chose the small one. After receiving the clothes, I am very satisfied, the length is as I want, the style is casual and beautiful, thick and warm. If you wear a hood, it is very warm. Lots of pockets, love it.

I really liked the look of this coat and it had all the hallmarks of a perfect winter coat. but xs fits like an average; I swam in this coat and sadly had to go back. It was tried on by a taller, wider friend [who is probably the average size of most coats] and the shoulders were too wide even for her.

I found the fit very odd. I'm average on canadian goose peppers but small on expedition. It's a small size, similar to the small size Expedition, but much wider in the shoulders and a bit uncomfortable in the chest area. Probably works perfect if you have a smaller bra size and a larger (I'm 5.5 and I was long)

I couldn't believe I could get a jacket of any quality for $139. But I also didn't think the Wall Street Journal would publish an endorsement for a poorly made coat. So I ordered a jacket and two days later I received it in my beautiful purse. I was very impressed with the style, material and quality of the jacket. I have recommended Orolay to all my friends and family. The buyers of the brand are also satisfied with it.

I'm a tall woman but didn't mind ordering a larger coat to fit. I usually take XL but after reading the reviews I ordered 2X. It really fit and I didn't have to send it back for a different size. It is very warm and sheltered from the rain. I don't know what to do with all the extra pockets. The hood is the size I need, there is not much space. I can move my head and the hood moves with it. i like the coat I only give 4 stars because of the size.

I bought this coat because the coat I bought last winter didn't quite fit me when I walked around campus. This coat is warmer than my previous coat but not as warm as I was expecting/hoping. However, I've definitely noticed an improvement over my previous coat. I live in Iowa and the winters here can be quite cold with biting winds. This coat looks great and is enough for walking around campus or waiting for the bus. Pockets without flaps are not very deep and I lost my glove in the parking lot
