Good but not for long trips.

Very well made backpack. Comfortable and ergonomic. Definitely recommended for a hike. HOWEVER I've been traveling around Europe with it for 2 months and wouldn't recommend living outside of it. It only has one top opening, so I've probably repacked this backpack about 100 times and it's already pretty dated. If you are a long term traveler I would highly recommend Osprey, they are a great company but not this model.

Pros
  • Removable swim top with 2 zipped pockets and mesh attachment points
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Smaller and lighter the better

I love the Osprey and have 3 other pockets for different purposes. I took 50 liters for hiking purposes at a reasonable price. My friend brought 65 liters. With a smaller backpack I decided not to pack too much and to make it as light as possible - a good decision. Although you can detach the top part of the backpack, HK from our experience, you usually use the space you have, and a friend regrets hiking with an extra 3-5kg.

Pros
  • Inner hydration bladder holds up to 3 liters hydration bladder (sold separately)
Cons
  • Does not fit all

No instructions in luggage or travel gear

There are LOTS of customizations that go into this quality backpack be able. Rated 3 stars because there are NO INSTRUCTIONS on how to do these settings. Also, the zipper for the adjustable weightless panel doesn't have a zip, so I can't zip it back up. The side pockets on the hip belt chafe on the elbows when swinging your arms, which is unavoidable on a hike. The same bags cannot be closed when the backpack is on, as it requires two hands to do so, defeating their purpose. Plus it's well made

Pros
  • Anti-Gravity Harness - Feel like you're carrying less weight than you're carrying in your backpack
Cons
  • It's OK
