I bought 12 of these lightweight rugs. I use them as runners on my floors to keep my older dogs from slipping on tile and wood floors. I also use them on my couch to keep dog hair from sliding off. For my purposes they work great. I wash them regularly in a "cold" machine and then let them air dry. I've had some of these for over a year and they're still doing their job. These are not plush, heavy rugs. I didn't want plush, heavy rugs so I wasn't disappointed when I first ordered them.

I read all the reviews and am very glad I bought these runners. I bought these to help my older dogs not to slip on the floor. They are soft on the foot, not too thick and not too thin. I had a stain that I was able to clean up easily. I wouldn't machine wash them but they can easily be cleaned on the outside with a garden hose if needed. Perfect rug if you have furry animals or children who bring dirt/trash with them. I like changing carpets often because furry animals are in and out of the house throughout the day. This rug is perfect for the bathroom or anywhere in the home. Soft with short down. Sucks well, doesn't suck, stays on the ground. The rubber backing works as it should, the mats stay in place. I wanted something soft because it's for the bathroom, but not too thick because the door has to open over it, and I wanted to be able to put the laundry in there every once in a while without causing any problems.
