Make sure this kit is right for your application.

The goods arrived quickly as expected. The quality of the instruments seems to be very good. I am new (75 years old!) to bike repair and quickly realized that I had ordered the wrong socket. It's a #5 (too big) and I need a smaller #1. I have a Shimano overrunning clutch and this is for the cassette type. No problem, order the right tool and it will be in a set soon. I will update this review if possible when I can use the correct outlet.

OK, but the ratchet/cassette eject slot is too small; you have to remove the axle.

Very good quality but if the freewheel removal was just 1/8" longer it would be 5 starts! Now I have to REMOVE the axle nuts that hold the bearings and take out the axle, because the freewheel seat isn't deep enough! Annoying! Had ordered one from Park Tool before. Ordered because the Park Tool is incognito. When it arrives it will be interesting to see if the freewheel/cassette has the same design flaw.

Superb Chain Whip. Freewheel tool does not fit older Gravity 26 " MTB wheels

Does the freewheel tool appear to work on my 2014 2014 Gravity comment 24 speed freehub LOOKS like it needs this tool but it actually needs a larger diameter freehub I mangled an Oumers freehub tool and another without moving the freehub and took them to a bike shop. They removed the bolts in 15 seconds. Long and short: The Gravity uses a slightly different freehub system than the standard Shimano/SRAM.
