This stuff delivers what it promises. Gives your paint a clean, fresh scent. It's very strong, to the point of giving me a headache, but still beats the smell of paint. It goes away with time, or maybe I just got used to it. It seems to add sparkle to the color if you can see your strokes from a certain angle. I didn't use the additive in the paint, the streaks aren't visible. Other than that, it's a good product.

I've been looking for a product comparable to Glades French Vanilla paint additive. wears this scent. I would say that the smell of this product was much more pleasant and lasted for several months. I used it to paint my master bedroom closet and it took way longer than I expected. I warn that the smell can be very strong at first. So if you are sensitive to some smells this might not be for you but it was exactly what I was looking for so couldn't be happier. next paint job.

Don't know if it matters but I used it with a gallon of Kilz. Kilz is MUCH more effective than regular paint, so we probably didn't get that smell. Once we mixed it in the paint container, it smelled like vanilla for a few seconds and then quickly dissipated. We then immediately applied paint to the walls and didn't smell the vanilla at all. We even tried to put our nose in the wall but we couldn't smell it. My son got paint on his nose from getting too close to sniff. LOL We'll try to use this
