ARTISTS’ PAINTING PASTELS – Patented formula of professional artists’ quality soft pastel colors in a unique pan format (cake-like) that enables pastel colors to be applied like paint - apply with Sofft Tools for the best results, for painting, drawing & mixed media (Pan diameter: 2.125” / 54mm). HIGHLY PIGMENTED & ULTRA SOFT – Loaded with the finest quality artists’ pigments for the most concentrated colors possible and made with minimal binder and fillers for rich super-blendable color, low dust for a cleaner working environment, conforms to ASTM D4236 and lightfast. MIXABLE, INSTANT & EASY – Mix like paint for an infinite palette to begin painting instantly - no preparation or drying time required, very forgiving medium, erasable with any eraser. If I've learned anything from buying these sets it's reading all of the reviews! I bought 2 sets this week...that's 15 individual pans and almost half of 7/15 came completely crumbled and powdered.... (What can anyone do with that, ugh…) The 8 colors used work great so the problem isn't with the product, it's with the shipping or the containers….

Worth every penny! good for drawing

If you haven't tried it yet, you should definitely try it! They are amazing! They are about the size of a compact face powder and have the same consistency/texture. Also roughly the same amount of product in each cup as compact powder. Well, for me they took a little introduction, but aren't all the products new to you? They harmonize so well, I was so excited! Ha! I also liked the fact that I didn't have a pile of dust to clean up. They come with a few tools, but regular makeup sponges work…

Very disappointed. Not in the product but in the packaging which ruined the cake

I know this is a great product. Previously purchased from my art store. However, they arrived completely chopped up and were basically just a colored powder when they were supposed to be pressed into a cake. I had to go back. Perhaps the packers would pack better if they knew how fragile this product is. As one star buyer pointed out, mine also arrived in a large box with only three airbags that didn't fill the box causing the set to bounce and smash the cakes.

Stay away from this seller.

I didn't like that my pans arrived broken. I will not buy from this seller again. The seller or whoever did the packaging should be ashamed. not sure. I cleaned it as best I could. Pan Pastel is generally of a high standard, so the product is very suitable for quick backgrounds, base layers, covering beautiful colors. I'm a colorist and I'm new to pastels. I create my kit and study the product, so my skill level is beginner. Initially I prefer this product to my Mungyo soft pastels and…
