Good product! About safety and survival

Great product at a great price. I received it earlier than I should have. Great for a leash I made for my Pallaton companion dog. I also made a bracelet. I also received the node cards that were sent to me.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Protection

Best price as I got twice the price.

Compared to in-store purchases. I kept buying the little 100 foot ropes you see in the stores and never had enough rope for my projects. That's more than enough for me, and I should have enough for a long time. Comparing the price per foot, I got twice as much rope as if I had continued to buy small 100 foot sections for ten or twelve dollars each.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Useless features

Non-genuine MIL-SPEC MIL-C-5040 Type III cable.

This is a good cable and I'm happy with my purchase because I use it for basic things, but I only give it 2 stars because it's not a Mil III cable. This cord has a core of 7 strands, but each inner strand only has 2 strands instead of 3. The orange cord below is from Walmart and while my expectations are also low, it has a 21 strand core compared to the 14 strands of this cord. Also, the orange cable is noticeably stronger.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities

What a mess! good for safety and survival

Well this is my very first Revain review. I ordered this paracord because it seemed like a good deal and I needed 100 foot lengths. When I received my order it came in a box and when I opened that box I immediately noticed that the cord wasn't on the spool it was all over the place. I cautiously tried to get it out of the box but it turned out to be a total mess with knots everywhere. I can only get a few yards of this cord and then I have to cut it. Completely useless. Terrible! POOH! I justโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Fantastic product and supplier

I had to cut this paracord into 25 inch recon strands to make paracord keychains. I cut 100 pieces and didn't find a single broken paracord. That was great! The paracord wound beautifully on the spool. Oh yeah. Delivery was pretty quick. Especially since I live on the other side of the Pacific Ocean in Hawaii. I used to order from another seller and it took about 3 weeks to receive my order. I missed my event with this provider. Never. I will only order from Paracord Planet! Mahalo!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • No instructions

Why is packaging such a complex concept? Low quality!

I was excited about this paracord for a number of reasons, but again, a Revain order was thrown at me in a bag meant to fit in a box. Now I have a bunch of paracord that I need to come up with a plan for instead of the spool I ordered. Definitely reduces the benefit for me. Update: I'll get a replacement in 3 weeks. This paracord is not military grade. This is an inexpensive commercial strain. Within days of tying keychains etc, the thin nylon sheath begins to fray and tear (revealing whiteโ€ฆ

Just like the website says it's seven strands

I ordered this to tie knots while watching TV and will remember the ones I knew and wanted to YouTube to let know more.It is exactly as the website says there are seven strands,I love the color and it's easy to work with and my knots come out perfect. My knots are easy to see as I have several Had rope colors which made it difficult to see if the knot came out good or not. It's thinner than I thought it would be but my old one was bigger and I didn't measure it before ordering. It looks like itโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Approximately 1/8" diameter
Cons
  • No automatic

Look around for the best price and know you can usually get a lot.

Once you figure out how long the pieces need to be for a specific bracelet size or project, you can literally reduce waste to a few inches for any project. It works well and holds positions after being fired to flat ends. The only difference between this cord and the others is the color and the price. Shop around for the best price and know that you can usually get much better prices with longer lengths. $9.99 for 100 feet and $20 for 250 feet. and prices usually get better until you buy giantโ€ฆ
