Attractive and works well

I used this to slice my fresh homemade bread. This knife cuts effortlessly through bread. It has a nice matte finish, but it's all one piece of metal. The weight is more at the handle than the end, which may or may not be a good thing depending on whether or not you like the extra help with slicing bread at the expense of more weight at the top. But I have found that it works very well for me. It is attractive, functional and easy to maintain. What else would you like to ask? I am satisfied…

Light but cuts well

I don't know what exactly this knife is made of but it's nice and sharp. I would say alloy with a black finish. It appears to be made from a single piece of metal, making the blade less likely to separate from the handle. The handle lies comfortably in the hand. Can't comment on cost as I don't know the price yet, but it's wrapped in plastic so I doubt it's expensive. Cuts well for a cheap knife. I don't know how long the coating will last, but that's my only real downside to this knife.

A good choice for a Paring Knife

Reviewed by: HOTIME 3.5 Inch Paring Knife Black This is an impressive knife. It's small but sharp, very sharp. It cuts like a dream and I was able to cut the tomatoes with ease. The handle is comfortable and the knife fits well in the hand. There are handles on the handle. The knife appears to be balanced. When I get a new knife, I have to look in my knife storage and decide if the new one is better than one of the old ones. If I decide to keep the new one, the old one will have to go. This…

Works well well made

This is a good well made knife that is easy to use and comfortable to hold. The handle is on the lighter side; the hand does not tire when used. He's beautiful and sharp. Copes well with slicing, slicing and chopping of fruits and vegetables. Works well with raw and cooked meat. While it didn't do a bad job, it's not the knife I chose for slicing thick loaves of bread. The Italian bread I sliced was a bit rough and sometimes tore. I can't comment on the price as it's not listed, but overall…

Sharp Hard Blade: Paring Knife

I really like sharp blades. The reason for this is that the more difficult something is to cut, the more likely it is that you will slip and cut yourself. This applies to all types of blades but is more pronounced in kitchen knives. This blade is sharp and you don't have to worry about cutting yourself because the blade is dull. You must be careful not to cut or stab yourself when cutting. the weight. This is a knife that will last a long time with good care. I like good kitchen knives. If I…

Good quality at a reasonable price

Lately I've been buying a lot of individual knives from different brands with mixed success. They all claim to be "high quality" and "premium metal" but I've found these words to be used by brands that should and shouldn't be making the claim. But so far I have to say that I am very impressed with this Hotime chef's knife. The paring knife itself is very sharp and the stitching on the blade is really good quality. Sharpened twice, also sharpens very well. The handle has a nice weight that feels

Really good knife at a good price

I've been getting a lot of single knives from different brands lately with mixed success. They all claim to be "high quality" and "premium metal" but I've found these words to be used by brands that should and shouldn't be making the claim. But so far I have to say that I am very impressed with this Hotime chef's knife. It comes in a sturdy black box, which makes an excellent gift, and is well protected by its own cutout. The knife itself is very sharp, the stitching on the blade is really high
