The quality of the parking tool. The Best In Cycling

Park Tool Quality you can't go wrong with. I bought this to remove the crank from an old 1984 Fuji Sagres road bike and it fit like a glove. When it comes to these types of tools, it's usually worth the money spent to avoid the soft metal knockoffs that some other retailers will try to sell you.

Another trusted tool from Park

Another trusted tool from Park. This Park Tool CCW-5 Crank Wrench is another tool in my bike tool kit that will still be around when I'm gone. Using this tool makes working with cranks that require a 14mm socket or 8mm allen key much easier. The long soft handle gives you good leverage to dislodge those stubborn bolts. Big investment in bike maintenance.

The problem for me was that the handle wasn't long enough and I needed more torque. The common way to remove a stuck pedal is to step on the pedal you want to remove and press down with your foot while…
