Great product.but. in Fish & Aquatic Pets

Excellent product. I've never seen such a thin sponge. Perfect for my baby guppy or plant aquarium. But I think customs had fun. Nothing has broken. But the packaging came torn and the filter box was in pieces. "No CBP, I don't disguise my cocaine as an aquarium filter"πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

Pros
  • Fine Sponge Filtration: Provides mechanical and biological filtration, capturing debris or debris without sucking in fish while maintaining a crystal clear water reservoir.
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Aquarium pumps and filters are the best space savers

The one I got from my local pet store was great but huge. It took up a lot of room in my 20 gallons. This more compact seems to have good bubble power. 2 problems, 1 was quite difficult to attach the air hose. 2. No air stone. One of the Petsmarts had a built-in air stone. Otherwise it's great. Don't forget to squeeze the air out so it goes down.

Pros
  • Easy to clean: The filter can be easily removed to remove dirt. Rinse ONLY with aquarium water every 2-4 weeks. Avoid washing in tap water!
Cons
  • Not sure

Good price for a good filter

This sponge filter is great like most others. If you find the bubbles are too loud, you can cut out the inner plastic and route the air hose to the air stone in the filter. This makes the filter quieter and actually creates more buoyancy in the water. Find a suitable PVC pipe, cut it to fit from your filter to just below the water surface, slide the crank over it and you now have a filter, air source and water jet to improve water flow in your aquarium.

Pros
  • Mini size: measures 2" (D) x 4.8" (H). Suitable for small 5-10 gallon tanks. Suitable for rearing and feeding various ornamental fish, shrimp or young fish.
