Description of Pawfly Nano Bio Sponge Filter - Quiet Betta, Fry, Shrimp, and Small Fish Foam Filter for Tiny Fish Tanks up to 10 Gallon (3 Pack)

Fine Sponge Filtration: The 3 filters provide mechanical and bio filtration and traps debris or waste without sucking up your fish, keeping a crystal clear water tank. Mini Size: They measure 2" D x 4.8" H. Fit for 5 - 10 gallon small tank. Suitable for the breeding and feeding of various ornamental fish, shrimp or fish fry. Easy to Clean: Each filter can be easily detached for cleaning the dirt. Rinse it every 2 - 4 weeks with aquarium water ONLY. Avoid washing it in tap water!. Quiet Aeration: Air powered and causing no disturbance to your daily life. Press the sponge into the tank to fully absorb tank water to make it sink to the bottom. Air Pump Not Included: You need an extra air pump to run each filter, which processes external air to promote oxygen circulation, providing a healthier tank environment.

Superfine foam but otherwise unbeatable price

Foam thinner than I would like - not so great for "absorbency" but very cheap, slight foam deformation during transport (almost completely foamed again after 1 day). ) not that we buy sponge filters for their aesthetics

Pros
  • Easy assembly
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Good cheap filter sponge

Good cheap filter sponge is perfect for my shrimp tanks. They won't eat my shrimp/fries. In terms of quality, one of them broke. For the price it didn't really matter. Noise is too big a problem; However, it would be nice if they included a bladder air control valve. Definitely recommend if you're looking for something cheap that does the job.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Works perfectly. Best in Fish & Aquatic Animals Category

I am happy with this filter, I never use this filter. I have a baby African dwarf frog. I keep him in a small gallon tank until his tank comes. I had one of the little filters that goes under water. It didn't work well. He needs a stronger air motor, but a stronger motor isn't good for a frog. So I found this, it cleaned his aquarium in a couple of hours, so clean I was so surprised. I can't wait for my baby frog aquarium to arrive. I have a big one too. I know his tank will be fine. My frog…
