they are back pressure capable

good value for money. I have an optional tail light guard for my multiple tanks and it's always there when I need it. I often change air pumps. A few of them have water in them and I can't dry them so they're disposable. As an environmentalist, I hate to throw plastic away. It would be better if they were reusable. Since I move the pumps a lot, I have a few that I can't store because of the water in them. I tried blowing out the air with a pump, it didn't help.

best in class. Not to mention that now you don't have to search for cheap valves anymore.

I've tried the vast majority of the cheap check valves available as I've had trouble figuring out which ones were any good. To be honest there is poor quality control on all of them and you are more likely to have a few bad valves in every batch. However, this brand seems to have the fewest defective check valves. Just make sure you test each one before using it by blowing on the opposite end of the dart to see if it works.

I like to buy air stones, check valves, suction cups, etc. in bulk because experience has taught me that a significant amount will not usually work because they are cheap and of poor quality.
