This is exactly what I was hoping for when I bought a compact pencil sharpener that sharpens crayons to fantastic lengths and is small enough to fit on a desk. I haven't lost any points from using it. It's battery operated so it doesn't look like the old electric sharpeners on the teacher's desk, just work with it and you'll be fine. I wish it had an adapter to plug it in just because I don't like battery power.

There seems to be one manufacturer that makes sharpeners of this design under several brand names and all have good reviews. One reviewer recommended simply going for the cheapest option for this design. Well it wasn't the cheapest. But the price difference is so minimal that I chose Office Goods for its looks lol.
