Based on my experience, this pet supply product did not meet my expectations. Although it was easy to install and started up smoothly, its filtration efficiency was subpar. My fish tank water remained cloudy despite constant use. I had to replace this filter with a higher-quality one from a different brand.

The replacement gasket fits perfectly and the filter has not leaked since it was fitted. Good price for extending the life of my pumps.

Yes, after 5 years of conscientious service, which included at least a monthly filter change, the 700 jerry can began to form mineral traces which gave rise to obvious slow drips. Even though I cleaned the original seals, it continues to drip. Until I got this patch. It was an exact replica of the original Penn Plax pad, it fitted perfectly and now it doesn't drip.
