Poor quality, not suitable for use.

In principle, glass for a C grade, at the short end, at ISO 800, back and forth. On a long faded and dark, well, this is for all zooms with variable aperture. In short, a clear picture cannot be achieved. Pentax zooms with a constant aperture are under 40,000, and you can’t find used ones. I’m shooting my child’s sports competitions in the pool with this lens, I have to raise the ISO to 6400 and shoot in a series in a ravine, the result is dumb. I have already come to the conclusion that it was

Everything about the product satisfied me, the price is perfect.

The lens really surprised me. Taken for experiment. Exceeded all expectations at the first test at the place of purchase and on the road (while the car was moving), focused normally. Rarely wrong, quite sharp. Photos taken by him (please note that they were taken through dirty glasses from a distance of 20 meters with a zoom): http://yadi. Sk/d/uxUGbu7cDj52S http://yadi. Pros
  • nimble, sharp enough, soundly made, the main thing is the price

The best product, from those that I have viewed, I advise everyone!

An amateur lens with good performance. One of the cheapest lenses with moisture / dirt protection. The cheapest one is the 18-55 kit with WR. I shoot at k-30 and I am always satisfied with the results, because it is clear what to expect from this lens. I want to note the high build quality, lens hood included, rubberized focus and zoom rings. Also, this lens has a quick-shift system, which means you don’t have to switch the selector to the “manual focus” position, but you can just twist it. For

Pros
  • Price, build quality, moisture protection, image quality, compactness.
Cons
  • Due to compactness, there is no internal focusing, average aperture, the screwdriver makes sounds

Wrong lens I ordered

This is a good lens and I regret not having checked it beforehand but now I realize this is NOT a weatherproof lens although the box that comes in it was marked as such. We are awaiting a response from 6save to see if anything can be done at the moment.

Pros
  • There's something in there
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Great lens for this price range.

Fantastic lens! I've used this lens in mud, dust, rain and snow. It works perfectly. This is a fantastic lens at this price. This lens failed. He was dropped on concrete and mud. This is not a problem. Yes, it has shortcomings at maximum zoom, as you'd expect from a sub-$200 lens, but in my humble opinion, it's great value for the money and it takes good pictures when looking at one. can have it in adverse conditions!

I was skeptical but got the right lens.

I was skeptical at first as other reviewers said they hadn't photographed the lens, but the price was good and I knew I would get my money back if it was inaccurate. Mine came from Electronics Basket by Revain and is actually a Ricoh DA WR with a hood. Nice little lens at a good price. So double check who yours is from and make sure you check both the box and the lens that says DA WR and not DAL.

Usually a good brand but

This lens was a birthday present and I was very excited after reading all the great reviews. I love Pentax and use their cameras and lenses with great confidence. This lens failed to focus on subject in autofocus mode and all my shots were out of focus even on a sturdy tripod. I know it's a great manufacturer, but this lens may have been dropped or just shifted. I'll try again next month but I'm sending it back now hoping future shipments will have more lenses than other reviewers. M

Excellent lens for amateur photographers

I am an advanced amateur photographer. I always shoot in RAW and manually. This lens can definitely provide sharpness. The colors are great! (but then again, Pentax always nails the colors. I'm just saying). I could not detect any distortion or color fringes in any of my images. The build quality is fantastic, seems very solid. It's a lot smaller than I expected, same size as the 18-55wr. Pleasantly surprised! Very light weight. compact. lots of zoom! F4 is the fastest aperture this lens can…

BEWARE of the Prime option: This is a scam from the seller

Buyers should beware, according to another review, "Another Deal Site" offers cheap kit versions of this lens, not the advertised ones. While the advertised lens sells for $250, the other lens is only $100 (although it's only available as a kit). I received the lens in a plain box but I have to admit that I was only very suspicious as the lens hood shown in the photo was missing. When I checked the site again to see if I was wrong about what was supposed to be included, I noticed a 1 star…

WOW great price

Pentax amazing dream book! I bought this lens about a week ago with my K30. I've taken a few hundred photos and this lens is excellent quality. In fact, I originally bought the DA-L 55-300 about a month ago (due to an overwhelming belief that it was optically vastly superior to this lens) and returned it simply because I wasn't happy with the sharpness results it consistently achieved. by him. I've used a tripod, remote control, everything to reduce blur and have been disappointed every time…
