Isn't it nice when you order something and it arrives exactly as advertised? That's how it was with this oil filter, it fit perfectly, had all the parts and the price was right. Order with confidence, these guys will succeed. The photo is not my filter but a Pentius product.

I always worry about pretty versatile cartridge filters - what if that thing falls apart in my engine? Well, there are no problems with that! Guys, it's an oil filter. It works. It included an o-ring and a new copper gasket for the oil plug. The only things you need to change your Mini Cooper Countryman's oil are a few special tools, a lot of patience and a hand with a second elbow in it - Mini service is PITA.

As previously mentioned this does not look like the picture, this is an OEM style. Includes a new drain plug washer. The oil will light up at idle when warm. I'll try the OEM style filter to see if that's the problem. As you can see, the filter broke down in less than a week. Possible engine damage. I'm sure OEM will work better. I will update when the idle oil light comes on with a new one. The filter was even more warped when I removed the cap, but I didn't bother to take another shot. just…
