This is a great bed for large dogs. Now I have 2 beds and my eldest daughter loves them. The foam is very supportive and firm. The pillow isn't the best, but that doesn't stop me from giving this review five stars. All I care about is the bed itself and how well it supports old arthritic joints. I couldn't be happier. Suggestion: When you receive the bed, please make sure the material is really broken in the roll, so that it fluffs better.

Bought this bed for an elderly dog who is 11 years old. Wanted something that would help whiten his bones and this bed nailed it. Has excellent support, doesn't sag like most beds. It comes vacuum packed, the bed itself didn't take long but the pillow fully opened up in a couple of days. I bought the XL so that it has a lot of freedom of movement, it has so much space that my Shi Zhu also likes to sleep on it. If my other dog hadn't slept on the bed I would have gotten a big one.

We have had these beds since October 2016 and our dogs love them every day. In the summer we leave them as they are. When it gets colder, we put their soft bed and a blanket on them to snuggle up in. This is an AMAZING bed! I will buy two more. I bought this for my older dog with hip issues and she loves the bed. She is an Aussie Shepherd mix and could really use a much smaller bed, I got an xl. Our Great Dane and our English Mastiff also love the bed and will both get XL. Of course, they fit perfectly into the bed. My dog had back problems and needed a good supportive bed for him. I chose this one. It arrived vacuum packed as others have described. I took it out, squeezed the roller a bit and shook the bed as the instructions said. Everything was fine within 24 hours. We have two Great Danes and for the price this is a great bed! I read conflicting reviews and was hesitant to buy it at first. We already have a Rowdy bed that was quite expensive but very high quality. It's in our living room and when we only had one Dane it was ok if he slept with us at night. However, we have two grandchildren and this year we have another Dane. So, although we do have a king size bed. my husband, myself, sometimes our granddaughter and two danes are not a comfortable match!
