I have a set of Maxtrax and Pinto and they seem to be a bit more durable and flexible. When folded, they take up little space and can be used as leveling mats for your truck. You can also place them on items that have steps instead of planks that you risk breaking. Haven't used them in mud yet but they have worked well for me in sand and rocks.

Trust me guys these go threads are the best compared to all other sand trax like MAXTRAX MKII etc because I have personally used maxtrax and some others. However, the main difference of the Go-Thread is its lightweight design, it can be folded, and also the drawbar does not rely on the teeth of the Traks. becoz maxtrax goes bald after being used continuously for over 10 times for serious recovery. but Go Caterpillars are the best.

I was actually planning to buy a Maxtrax recovery track set when I stumbled across GoTreads and I'm so glad I did. In my opinion, GoTreads is much better at everything but spaces, and here's why: 1. Dragging. Traction on Maxtrax and similar recreational tracks depends on small lugs that tend to wear out or come loose as the wheel slips.
