Description of πŸ”§ Pit Posse PP2588 Heavy Duty Motorcycle Exhaust Spring Puller Remover Tool: Ultimate Solution for Efficient Removal

T-handle style provides plenty of leverage. Instead of welding the hook onto the rod which can become brittle and break, we CNC machined it right out of the rod stock, then bent it. 5 3/4 inches long. Strongest spring puller on market. Lifetime warranty backed by Pit Posse's 15 years of producing quality tools.

does the job. in spare parts

good quality. Need a puller to reinstall the tension spring on an old MTD garden tractor. What a pain in a--. After I fitted the tail to the ramps, the puller allowed me to use the lever to put the spring back on the lever. Now my neighbors are happy again because my lawn no longer looks like a budding forest.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons

Well done Spring subframe

They are designed to grab and stretch heavy feathers. Large springs common on motorcycles and mowers. If you use rope it works just as well, but it's nice to have in my toolbox. Expect to sit up and rest your feet so you can easily muster some strength. The hook could be a bit bigger.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • The list is long.

Not for use in cars or motorcycles, but for repairing washing machines.

I have had this instrument for almost 15 years. Finally the hook gave way. but 15 years is not bad. I use this tool to repair bedding, top load and front load washers. The new top loaders use suspension springs, this tool makes the job a lot easier. The same applies to the springs of the front-loading washing machine. One in my aunt's shop just didn't go together.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • There is nothing here

good quality product

I bought this tool to fix a permanently broken chair with a spring in the wrong place (for repair work). My regular furniture repairer (whom I pay a lot to hire for shabby furniture!) recommended that I learn to do my own repairs and showed me his version of this smart tool. It works great and seems very strong. My mechanic said this was a very good example of a spring hook tool (I had to keep an eye on mine to make sure it didn't end up in his tool box haha). Remember this is a MINI nib. hook…

Bigger and stronger than what's sold in auto shops

With a larger hook and stronger construction than the local shop version of this tool, this T-handle spring release tool is a solid piece of rust-proof chrome that doesn't wear (House) shop can do without. I originally bought this tool to help disconnect the strong clutch return spring on my John Deere LA1xx series lawn tractor. After ordering this, however, I successfully got the job done using a conventional drum brake spring removal tool and some ingenuity (spreading the crossbar apart with…
