After trying this sterilizer for my fish tank, I am impressed with its effectiveness. The water is much clearer and my fish seem healthier. The installation was easy and the maintenance is hassle-free. However, the unit may take up more space than some other canister filters.

I recently bought this canister. With my own bio media, this device worked great. It's quiet and seems strong enough for my 75 gallons. After about a month of ownership I wanted to install a UV lamp - this is a new tank installation so I wanted to keep UV out. But I had no leaks. I had never had a canister before so I was nervous. I am 70 years old and for me the instructions were difficult to read and sparse. I still haven't figured out how to remove the clear plastic cover to turn on the UV light; but overall a great experience and it immediately started removing small particles in the water column.
