This sandpaper is much better than the individual sheets I have bought. It takes longer. It will fit any sanding block or dowel I attach it to. I am very happy with the results I have had on several woodworking projects. And finally, it's cheaper than buying bags of larger cut sheets because of its durability and handy size (cut to fit the sanding block). I also like the sticky side; Sandpaper is non-slip and makes it easier to grip the whetstone.

I bought some sticky sandpaper to use with a Ryobi square sander and a Chicago orbital sander. It is also convenient to simply tap the workpiece with your hand without holding it while grinding. I have every grit from 80 to 320. It's great to be able to just peel off the old sheet, take a piece out of the box, put a grinder on a pad or blade and cut it off with a tool knife. I posted this on a granite slab for lapping a hand plane. The adhesive's tack is so strong that to remove it I had to do the following: 1. Use the heat gun on high power while pulling with a gloved hand2. Spray WD40 on rubber glue-like residue and leave for 30 minutes3. Use a razor blade to scrape off the cement4. Use mineral spirits to remove any remaining marks that the razor blade failed to remove5. Use 91% isopropyl alcohol to remove any film and restore a clean and shiny finish. It worked…
