NOT FOR FULL SIZE ADULTS

I'm 6ft 3" and have a 5 5/8" hat and this unit crushes my head no matter how I adjust it. I'm sure they will fit most head sizes but if you have a big head forget it.

  • Good product for the price

It is very difficult to get air through these hoses. I tried doing laps in the pool for a month hoping my lungs would get stronger, but unfortunately that didn't happen and this expensive device sits idle in my closet.

Swimming with him is not easy.

I had high hopes for this because I wanted to breathe easier while swimming. I could also just use a regular whistle which would be easier! Breathing in seems a bit difficult, but not impossible. Exhaling, however, is so difficult that it is useless! I can't even exhale all the air before I have to take another breath! You have to blow hard to push the air out and then there will be a lot of bubbles right in your face/eyes! If I had known about it I would not have bought it because it was quite

Works Perfectly: Water Sports

Update: I've been using the Powerbreather for a couple of weeks now and am now used to how you should breathe. I have found that I can now relax while swimming and even lose myself while swimming. I was able to swim 3 miles yesterday. I used to find it difficult to swim 1/2 mile without the Powerbreather. I can't say enough good things about the Powerbreather. Now I like going to the pool and exercising. It takes a little getting used to. I swam on my knees and learned to force myself to fullyโ€ฆ

Well made but noisy.

Exactly as advertised. Probably very good for those with young, strong lungs as a lung booster. For me as an older swimmer who is always a little short of breath, the necessary deceleration when breathing in and out is tiring. Maybe more than that, it's noisy. I've pretty much reverted to plain old pipe. Once again it's very well made, just as advertised, but I wish it took less effort to breathe and was somehow quieter. Late update: Tried again as regular snorkel resulted in CO2 beingโ€ฆ

Just great! Best for diving and snorkeling

Today I wore the Powerbreather in the pool. I haven't ridden a lap in over a year and have been using it non-stop for the past 30 minutes. I started snorkeling 5 years ago because I felt that raising my head to breathe caused neck problems on one side. I stopped about 1 year ago out of laziness. When I saw the review on this product I just got it. I read the installation instructions before trying it. Although it fits snugly against my face, it loosened up a bit once I got in the pool and thenโ€ฆ

Worst Sports Whistle

There's a reason I returned this Revain whistle for a full refund. I would rate this tube a zero if I could. I often swim a mile or more in open water. This hose does not solve the problem of water in the hose, because to put it on the head you have to constantly loosen the cheap one-piece plastic bottom fastener. It also makes breathing so difficult that it's completely useless. First, there is not enough air to breathe. As you exhale, you have to breathe unnaturally heavily. Exhalation should

Power Breather improved my asthma.

I am a 56 year old practicing neurologist from Florida and in my early teens I was a swimmer for the Rolling Hills Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have always loved swimming and it has always helped me, especially with asthma. Like all adults, I gain weight with age and slow down with exercise, and my asthma has returned with a vengeance. I took Advair daily and Albuterol several times a day. I've tried various sports including tennis, crossfit, 90 day px and martial arts but it's taken its
