Brake lines broke immediately

Pressed "bolts" separated as soon as I pulled the unit out of the box. I replaced both with better hardware and then the bender's neck was bent over plain 5/16 mild steel tubing.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • weak

Easy bending of NiCopp hoses

Easy bending of 3/16 OD and 5/16 OD NiCopp hoses for brake and fuel lines. No kinks as of 3/16 which was good as the brakes are safety critical. The 5/16 left a slight kink that might be of concern when building fuel lines (I used vapor lines). Align the beginning of the bend with the letter "O”, mark the pipe with a marker and you can easily reproduce the lines.

Pros
  • Brake system
Cons
  • Neutral

Broke immediately good for hoses, lines and fittings

The pressed-in "bolts" came loose as soon as I took the device out of the packaging. I replaced both with better hardware and then the bender's neck was bent over plain 5/16 mild steel tubing.

Pros
  • brake lines
Cons
  • The list will be long.
