I'm letting my gray hair grow out and am trying to get rid of the dark brown colored part - I've tried several products and this one worked quite well. Dark brown became much lighter after use. But it's still not a natural color so I might have to do it a few more times.

It's better to read the instructions. Depending on the thickness of your hair, you sometimes have to repeat the process. Rinse your hair with shampoo 3-4 times for 10 minutes. The finished result is actually lighter than it appears in the picture. My walls are light yellow, so they look more yellow. And I didn't tint it right after.
