It was easy to install - it reads automatically - literally all I had to do was screw them onto the valve stems and turn on the display unit. Tire pressure accuracy is at least 80 pounds. It's responsive - when I take them off the stem the display starts beeping within a few seconds. Instructions should detail how to begin installation. For example, do not turn on the control module until the sensors are in place, and first check the air pressure in the tires and inflate them to the correct pressure. Do you have a diagram in the manual of which bus is number 1 and 2 and so on. I love the windshield mount. I would have liked it to be a little brighter, but that's not a bad thing. I use this device on my caravan. It issued several false alarms en route from Dallas, Texas to Colorado. I ordered a signal booster with the previous TPMS system that was on the dash. This device worked perfectly until the Dallas summer sun hit it. I didn't even have to use a signal booster. On the way home from Colorado, this unit gave a few more false alarms.
