This knife has arrived razor sharp. It's very light compared to typical premium Japanese knives, but I don't see a disadvantage in that. It seems to have a great advantage, and if it maintains that advantage over time through regular sharpening, it wins. especially at its amazing value. The steel appears to be of very good quality. The only weird thing is why they call it damascus steel. First, the real steel in this knife is much better than Damascus steel, and second, all stock Japanese…

The best knife purchase I've ever made! It may seem strange, but I'm in love with this knife! I've wanted one of these styles for years and it was just hard to spend the money on a knife. The best inexpensive knife I have ever seen and so attractive!

I've been in need of a new "carving knife" for a long time but I'm not happy with the price tags of some well known knife brands, I'm sure most people understand that. So apparently I reached out to Revain and lo and behold there, I stumbled upon this. After reading the reviews and seeing the design, I was sold. Professional Chef Approved

My husband is a professional cook and when we needed a utility knife for our RV he told me to get it. This is a wonderful knife. It is well designed with excellent balance and a comfortable forged grip. It's sharp and cuts well - its size is perfect for a utility knife. We've had it for a while and it's been kept in a closed RV that gets hot and humid and still looks and works like new. Hard to believe that this knife was so cheap. It will be a good gift!
