Type of review

I bought several pairs of these shoes for my husband as he had arthritis surgery on several toes. For this reason he has a very wide foot in the ball area and is the only shoe that he finds comfortable enough for both work and everyday life.

Pros
  • good shoes
Cons
  • Possible blistering

Best disappointing in my rating

The shoes look and feel good, but the build quality leaves a lot to be desired. In less than three months they had worn down the tip of the tongue and the soles had separated from the body of both shoes in more than one place. A visit to the shoe shop, a month and twenty dollars later, the sole on the back of the left shoe is falling off again. This time I will do DIY repairs with Shoe Goo but will not buy Propet again and never recommend it.

Pros
  • Bought as a gift. Fits very well.
Cons
  • Not suitable for people with foot problems

I love these shoes - my new review

I love this shoe. It looks good. I think it's well done. (This is my second identical pair). That's convenient. These are running shoes that I think are meant for everyday walking and/or outings, but I feel confident wearing them to places where I need to get dressed. Very nice.

Pros
  • very satisfied . . . received early. . . as advertised. . . couldn't be happier. . . EXCELLENT SHOE. . .
Cons
  • Not stylish or trendy

It's ok feedback from me

The shoes fit fine. I like the width of the shoe but I don't like the comfort of the shoe. The shoes are light. I am a heavy man weighing over 300 pounds. I am a correctional officer who does a lot of walking. I will purchase an insole to help with support.

Pros
  • great shoes. I've been buying the same style for 17 years.
Cons
  • The material is easy to paint

I haven't worn that many shoes, but .

I haven't worn the shoe that much but the material on the tongues is peeling off revealing the spongy material underneath. This isn't my first pair of Propet shoes so I'm surprised at the quality.

Pros
  • FITS PERFECTLY.
Cons
  • Not slip resistant

A very happy customer.

Basically very good shoes and I got them at a good price. My ankles are swollen so I'm a bit cramped at the moment but I'm sure I'll be better in a short while. I have another pair similar to these and they were great shoes and very comfortable!

Pros
  • Got them for my dad and he loves them.
Cons
  • Not even close to 5E.

Good shoes I think

Good looking shoes. I needed better arch support so I added some arch inserts and they are great now. I have a bad back and weak arches so I always need extra support. Thank you Revain for a great shoe at a great price!

Pros
  • They fit and don't hurt me. I'm doing well....
Cons
  • Like the Propet brand. Just not wide enough for a 15ft height.

made of good materials and wear well

5e is a little tight. skin, they stretch. I have real 3e legs and this is my 5th pair of Propets. The last two pairs were a bit tight. Same model numbers as in the past. However, they are well made, made of good materials and wear well.

Pros
  • Just received. Will update rating in 60 days based on my past experience with other buyers.
Cons
  • The price is too high for the quality

Sold new but very old.

These shoes are sold as new but must be very old as the coating on the tongue has peeled off after only a few uses. I have photos of the shoes if you are interested.

Pros
  • Fits very well and comfortably!
Cons
  • Limited availability in stores

I liked the shoes

I liked the shoes, the material is excellent, comfortable. I brought them for my aunt who has severe swelling in her ankles and feet. I want them to fit because they are beautiful. She just needs different shoes.

Pros
  • Very convenient.
Cons
  • No bow support

The best choice

Lesson learned. First pair of shoes I haven't bought from Revain. I'm a big fan of Propet shoes. I decided to roll the dice and try this model. close. If you need 5e. Stay away from this model. There is a better choice in the Propet line. Now we have to return them.

Pros
  • Best shoes my husband has ever bought for his diabetic feet. His second pair.
Cons
  • Not waterproof

A big disappointment from my favorite shoemaker.

I've been buying Propet hiking boots in size 10 5E as my main shoe for over 12 years. Prior to this purchase they were one of the most comfortable running shoes I have ever owned. These shoes were labeled 5E but were significantly narrower than the previous Propet 5E. There was also some kind of defect in the seam of the left boot that caused pain in the upper part of the left leg. And to make matters worse, the insoles were lumpy and another source of pain. Unfortunately, unlike my previous…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Poorly made shoes

I had to return the product, I wear wide shoes but due to the way these shoes are cut they are just a casual fit. The top of the sock flexes so much that it looks like an old-fashioned hand washboard. And while it's a leather upper, it's really thin leather, which is probably why it flexes so much.

Pros
  • I'm crossing my fingers
Cons
  • Not as thick as the other models

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Falling apart after 3 months of use

"Skin" tears wherever there is a flex point in the shoe. It also flakes off when scratched. Doesn't hold up scratches well. The body of the shoe is not real leather at all, but rather fabric covered in faux leather, similar to the cheapest "leather" office chairs. Shoes don't hold up well at all. Wouldn't buy again.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Annoys

Looked like a good shoe

Seems like a good shoe, a bit light, nice looking and well made. I ordered 10 5E for a person with swollen legs and feet. His normal height is 8.5 3E. He has a pair of 9.5 wide Hush Puppies that he wears all the time. The label said it was 10 EEEEE but he couldn't figure it out.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • I don't actually like it, it's ok
