I used one of the three cables in my build a few weeks after deciding to add a second SSD. I installed my new SSD, checked all my connections, closed the case and booted it up. Well, after about 4 hours and reinstalling Windows twice, I was back at a drive. Something was definitely wrong with the second cable, whatever it was, enough to ruin the windows. I replaced these cables and now everything is fine and I have two drives that work fine but not with these cables. Garbage.

Nothing special. It works, holds its shape and matches my other blue cables very closely. Too bad there are 3 packs in the listing. but only ONE came. so I didn't use it with my drives and didn't install them. I ordered 3 packs because I needed 2 and would have an extra for my RWB patriotic build. I used the one that came with this build and it looks good, holds its shape pretty well as I remodeled it before pinning it down. maybe someday the other 2 cables will magically appear in my mail…

First, they do their job. You connect them to your SATA devices along with SATA Power and they work. As for the STRETCH rating, I gave it 4 stars because they look like regular SATA cables with their traditional hard plastic insulation that someone covered with a black jacket. Nothing wrong with that if you're looking for the looks I was, but I also figured they would make a really custom cable instead of putting a braided jacket over a regular SATA cable.
