Best knife, best paring knife

My son and I have been hunters our entire lives. We use these knives to butcher our own game. They are durable and easy to sharpen with a sharpener. I've used my first one so many times over the years that it's worn out as it sharpens. This is my new replacement for a 20 year old knife that still works well. I would recommend this knife to anyone.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Hard to remember, but it was

The best paring knife ever!

It's a little longer than another Rada paring knife I bought a few years ago and I just love it! So much so that I gave one to a friend and told her she had to have it and she feels the same way! Because of the slightly longer blade, I use it even more than the first one I bought, and not just for cleaning. Can't say enough about it!

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Requires socket wrench

The best knife brand, only buy the brand!

These knives are so sharp and durable! It says do not wash in the dishwasher as the handle will oxidize. I did this by accident and although my handle is now discolored it doesn't affect the blade or its sharpness. "The Best Knives!" Thank you for making fantastic knives affordable. I've bought a few of these and given them away and EVERYONE who tries them loves them! Love the fact that they are made in the USA!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Very expensive

Quality feel, solid construction

Exactly as I ordered, the knife feels solid and the quality is worth the price I paid for it. It feels good and if it resembles previous knives of this brand I've had, it will "break in" and feel even more comfortable with constant use. The shape and size is exactly what I wanted and the blade holds its edge very well. These aren't super expensive luxury blades, but you definitely get what you pay for and with proper care they can last a long time.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Incredibly sharp and easy to use

I recently lost an expensive pair of knives that were made in Europe. Less than the cost of this knife. I bought 2 Rada straight blade pairing knives. 8 3/8" and 7 1/8" and Rada 8 7/8" tomato slicers, all with silver aluminum handles. They are incredibly sharp and made from high carbon T420 surgical grade stainless steel. They come with a lifetime guarantee. Finally "They're made in Iowa, America! They've become my most used knives. I'm thinking of giving away my expensive European and Japanese

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Not as thick as other pickaxes

Extraordinarily good knife - excellent workmanship and finish!

Wow I'm not surprised but this is a GREAT knife! It was very sharp and now that I've had it for a while it has retained its sharpness. It has good balance, great finish, great cutting results and I love that they are made right here in the USA. The handle has a slight (very slight) roughness but it offers a nice and secure grip which you will need because this knife is very sharp, one move and you can get in trouble. I liked it so much that I ordered a couple more Rada knives for the kitchen…

Pros
  • High test scores for hold and durability
Cons
  • Updates available

Nearly perfect American products

Rada knives we originally found at a farmer's market and bought several sets as gifts and added to our original set over the years. For the price of these knives you would only expect mediocre quality, but I have some very high quality (expensive!) Japanese kitchen knives and they don't cut or last any better than the Rads I have. The polished aluminum handles on Rada knives feel better than the wooden handles on most Japanese knives. The thickness of the blade also has a big impact on its…

Pros
  • understandable even for old people
Cons
  • A bit of loose change
