Just received this but am impressed. I put it on my bike and rode hard down the track and neither the phone nor the mount budged. It seems very solid, unreliable, but easy to set up. You get what you pay for! Btw I was wondering if my phone would sit in it weirdly because I have one of those things with a popsocket on the back, but it's ok and still feels very secure.

Looks like another quality product from Ram. The only thing I don't like about this mount is that it comes with dozens of parts and no assembly instructions. It wasn't difficult, but you'd think Ram Volumes would give their customers some guidance. I'm deducting one star for the lack of instructions, but the product is excellent.

Received my bracket today, now let me quote part of the description. Manufactured from powder coated marine grade aluminum. No, only the bolt and ball joint are aluminum, the rest is plastic junk. I just installed this phone holder on my motorcycle. The hold on the baby bath is very secure. I don't ever want the phone to slip. I wanted to use this to mount a mobile phone on my 2018 Triumph T120 Bonneville. The extension makes it awkward to mount on this bike, and the large mount looks great on the handlebars, with or without a phone. I have RAM mounts on either side of the dash on my Jeep Wrangler YJ and this is my new favorite way to secure my phone. While I have a harder time plugging and unplugging my phone when I want to take a quick photo, it's a lot more secure than other things I've tried.
