The clever design leaves a little wiggle room for the soft top aftermarket. The plastic hooks are fairly easy to attach, and the top features rear straps to secure the case in high winds or longer. I use this on my 2004 Wrangler TJ. It goes perfectly with the top, which is what I need it for. I currently have a safari style case and it fits that too. It's a thinner material and I think it will hold up well for a bit of rain. Everything else could go through with this, but that's just my guess at the moment. Update 8-6-15 Bought the second one in March 2015. It's August 2015 and the fabric is falling apart. It literally disintegrates in the sun. Every time I touch it, the gray dust flies up from the fabric and clogs, especially in the eyes. Do not buy! Spend more money and buy something that will last.
