Job done! I'd say it's a lighter strap, fairly short wire on the ratchet side, incapable of looping over and returning to itself. If you have grommets or hooks this will work just fine.

Works great! After years of knitting and badly tied knots, I finally made it. Now I'm wondering why no one told me this before. Everything has become much easier and safer. If you've never tried ratchet straps, do yourself a favour. I will never go back to ropes!
