DO NOT purchase this tripod if you plan to use it with any type of boom/jib. I received this item for use with a Neewer Crane/Jib. Under the weight of the boom and camera, the rotating portion of the ball holder continued to move and roll in the ball holder area, ruining my footage. NO 75mm head. This tripod is really great for the price, but it does have a few significant drawbacks. The head tension mechanism slips fairly easily. , so it became quite difficult to use without blocking. Overall a nice lightweight tripod. Smooth movement is good EXCEPT! If the head doesn't tilt for even a few minutes, it has an annoying pause that ruins the footage. pan does not exist. I just can't take it when I'm on the beat and have to lean forward and SLACK when there's a pause and such a sudden start. I've had this tripod for a little over a year and use it weekly. This is really a mediocre product. . It's been like this since day one, it needs a very, very tight mount to hold it in place. I absolutely would not use this with a slider and a heavy camera. The leg locking buttons all loosen over time and you might not even notice!
