🕶️ Ray-Ban RB4181 Tortoise Polarized Sunglasses Review

Great looking frames but the plastic is a different material than Wayfarer or Wayfarer 2s so Costco will not fill them. I had to send it to a friend who asked their optometry lab to make an exception and fit the lenses at their own risk. I have no idea how they differ, but apparently most labs don't want to touch these softer plastic frames.

Don't get me wrong, these pieces look almost perfect and were almost fooled, but they turned out to be fakes when the engraved 'RB' logo wore out completely afterwards the first cleaning. I returned them and got my money back, went to the mall and bought the real ones and the first thing I did was rip off the damn engraved "RB" logo, you know. The logo has stayed the same.

Original Ray-Bans. Great offer! I saw some other reviewers saying they received what they thought was fake so I was skeptical about ordering it. I figured I could always send them back if they were fake. They arrived and looked beautiful! I took them to my local Ray Ban retailer and they confirmed they were genuine. So I'm not sure how some people get fakes when mine were 100% authentic Ray Bans. I am completely satisfied and delighted to receive them at such a great price!

I didn't want to order them because people said the pair ordered were used but mine are definitely brand new, I have them Tried them on at Sunglass Hut to make sure they fit before I ordered them and they should definitely try them on if you have a big face that usually makes sunglasses look small. Product as expected. The gradient was green as expected and looked good. However, they were not legal. Good quality fakes. I took them to my optician who also sells RB lenses for prescription glasses and he pointed out a telltale sign of poor quality. I couldn't find the size of the glasses anywhere. Check any verification site and you will see that real RBs are big on it. I even tested Sunglass Hut to make sure my doctor was right. Avoid Sunglass Express unless you are looking for high quality

I am a Ray Ban lover. I have worn this brand for many years. The styles are great and for the most part they are well done. But what I really like about Ray Ban are the G-15 lenses. Optically perfect for me and just the right shade of green. I confess that I was a somewhat disappointed customer. The glasses I wore for years were the Ray Ban Cats 3000.
