The product is unusable without repair.

I accept that this antenna is old and no longer manufactured; Eventually, however, the lead wire was cut off right at the base. There was no lead wire in the container and it had clearly been opened and sealed. Since this is a discontinued item and costs less than $20 (including shipping), I will not be asking for a refund. This defect should have been pointed out in the description.

Poor handling of accessories and consumables

Hoping to improve our DTV reception, this product has received good reviews on Revain and other DTV websites. However, this only led to disappointing results. Our basic butterfly antenna received twice as many stations. The product also claimed to have an "adjustable" hinge, but that wasn't the case. If you already have a working portable antenna and want more power (and more transmitters), consider an active (boosted) antenna. Much luck.

cheap good best in antennas

I bought an upgraded version of this RCA antenna (RCA 111) for $5 along with an RCA 525 and two Terks that ranged in price from $35-$50. This one outperformed all three in both signal count and signal strength. I live in a wooded area with huge trees in the yard and a small mountain between me and the nearest towers (15 miles). Signal strength was measured at 72-78 out of 100 compared to others who could only score 66/100. I highly recommend this antenna or its replacement model 111.

Simple indoor VHF UHF FM antenna that worked for digital devices

A pair of rabbit ears (VHF) with a built in loop (UHF) worked great when connected to a digitizer on a 14 year old Magnavox 27 "Color stereo TV and receive 23 digital channels. Location will make a big difference. The only flaw I see with this is that the cable coming from the bunny ears needs to be held in place, if its plug is in the back of your TV, VCR or digitizer box (it's so flimsy that it tries to rotate with the metal plug and can bend if not held tight).

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Low repairability

For $5, it's good for digital reception at home or on the go.

This simple RCA ANT 110 works great in a rustic 3rd floor bedroom with a digital TV. Its 3 foot stretched bunny ears connected to two VHF channels 50 miles apart and thanks to the built in loop it fed over 20 UHF stations from 4 to 35 miles away. The second pair I bought works fairly well with the portable LCD I take with me when I travel, replacing that set's small, inefficient built-in whip antenna. The RCA ANT 110 is more reliable and less expensive than many models with more bells and…

It does its job no worse than much more expensive antennas

I use this simple antenna for HDTV DTV signal. I live 11 miles from the transmitters and can pick up all UHF and hard-to-reach VHF stations as well or better than the more expensive Terks and Phillips HDTV antennas. I tried a few in the $30-$40 range, thinking that a higher price meant better performance for an indoor antenna, but in the end I had to give up and try the old technology to get VHF DTV channels in my area (Houston) to receive. This simple set of bunny ears does the job, is…

Not a miracle cure, but not bad.

Very satisfied with this antenna. I still need to do a lot of tweaking to get good reception on certain channels, but no indoor antenna will do wonders for your TV reception (especially if your house seems to be in a hole like mine). It's definitely an improvement over the antenna that came with my TV. As a reviewer before me said, the base of this antenna is well weighted and has a very nice non-slip pad on the bottom. Overall the product works well and looks nice. I don't regret the purchase…

Great reception, great price, great quality

This great RCA antenna has been around since the 70's but an improved version of the ANT110 is released every few years. This one is currently the newest and its reception is sharper than ever! One of the best antennas to date. Now they have also added the ability to watch HDTV signals on the air to this model. This antenna is not for everyone. For tube TVs (square, 4:3) people with larger TVs, I'd say over 27 inches, should get stronger amplified antennas. Otherwise you may get a weak signal…
