Fits, but the logo is upside down.

That's why you buy OEM. I assumed it was. No, that is not so. It fits my 2007 Honda Civic but the "Aux" logo is upside down. This is clearly for CRV, not civilians. But that solves the problem. That works great. Sounds good. (So far I've literally just installed it.). The easiest solution.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Aux connection fix on additional input adapters

Replaced the aux port connector (aux port option not available on the radio) with this great part. Perfect fit for 2007 Honda Civic. Make a video on You Tube of replacing this auxiliary connector, but only replacing the plug. Some videos show how to disassemble the dashboard to replace the entire connector, which is not necessary. It took 10 minutes to install and my aux port was up and running again.

Exact fit for 2010 Honda CR-V E-XL

From the YouTube video I realized that this part has a removable insert that can be easily removed without breaking the clip held plastic body remove. I removed the part incorrectly and pulled it out of such a tight space with difficulty. I recommend you scan YT before installing this. Now I'm the master of installing this part and this machine! Thank you YouTube!

not quite suitable for 2008 Civic. but can work

Description shows it works for 2006-2011 Civics. OEM body has an angle to it, it doesn't have an aux faceplate breaking one or more of the latches, replace the small circuit board and you're done. The tabs on the lid fit, but "AUX" is upside down.

Works great but stopped working after less than a year.

This thing stopped working in less than a year. Bought October 2019. It is now June 2020. My aux port in my 2010 Honda Civic just stopped working for no reason. I would have to wiggle the cable to get it back to Aux. I thought it was the cable so I replaced it. When I got a new cable, the issue continued to lead me to the conclusion that the aux port itself was bad. I finally found this piece. When I replaced the Honda factory auxiliary connector with this model, it worked great. Now today it…

An inexpensive solution to a big annoying problem

My 2007 Honda CRV had a defective extra connector. I love listening to music from my phone or iPod while driving, so I called the dealer first to find out how much it would cost to replace it. They quoted my over $100! I started googling how to fix this myself and found this connector on Amazon. For less than $15 and about 10 minutes I solved the problem. The auxiliary connector just pops out of the socket on my center console, so unplug it. was easy (used a tiny flat head screwdriver to pry…
