Designed to pull out nails from wood to reuse planks, fiberboards, pallets, barn wood, wooden decks, etc. The nail head may be pulled off when you pull out rusted nails from old hard wood (such as oak, ash). Because the nail head is not strong enough, not a tool problem. Capacity nails length 25-70mm, diameter 2-3.5mm. Air-powered, Working pressures from 80-120 PSI. Lightweight die cast aluminum body, Weight only 3.1lbs.

works well!

works well when there is consistently high pressure behind the tool. A little hint: keep a small nail puller handy in case you come across a stubborn nail!

Pros
  • Air operated, 80 to 120 psi working pressure
Cons
  • Extended Supply

More pulling force required

I have the feeling that this tool requires more force (e.g. more pressure) when pulling the nail. It often gets caught in old hardwood with rusty nails. It works well with smooth nails in soft woods.

Pros
  • Nail capacity: length 25-70mm, diameter 2-3.5mm
Cons
  • old

Have reasonable expectations and you'll be damn happy!

What struck me about the one star review video here is that there is no footage of him trying to pull those same nails out with a tire iron or a cat's paw. Extremely rusty nails that have been there for a very long time to fight and fight and fight, even with a crowbar, of course she can't get that out! If it were possible I would be very worried about safety! But wood doesn't have to be new softwood or have rustproof nails to work with! It has an amazing pull and honestly I'm just surprised…

Pros
  • The head of a nail can be torn off when you pull rusty nails out of old hardwood (e.g. oak, ash). Since the nail head is not strong enough, this is not a problem with tool
Cons
  • . There are other interesting options.
