Don't waste your time or money. Will not work in 2013 Chevy Cruze. Pins are not created equal. You'll have to modify the hard plastic case, but you'll only damage it. The pins provided do not match the key or the body combination. You can use the old pen, but as I said, you have to change the shell. We ended up using it without the spring and just push the top of the key to allow it to pop out as the spring doesn't work without the pins installed. Don't buy, look elsewhere.

Good cheap replacement when buttons on key fob are worn and falling off. After unscrewing the back (behind the Chevy logo) it was a bit difficult to open. I had to stuff something strong inside to help push it apart. But after that it was quite easy to transfer the circuit board and key from the old key fob to the new one.
