Good for best price among power tools and hand tools

This grinder is amazing I have used this grinder for many projects and it works great what I like best is the variable speed and the fact that it is quite heavy so doesn't require much pressure to keep it on the surface. I would recommend it to everyone but you should have some batteries.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Too heavy to spin freely

I will try to return it or sell it with the message that it is too heavy to spin freely. As mentioned in the questions section; it runs off the workpiece. Or do I have to manually lift it to make it rotate. I've trained enough. It takes forever to sand down a simple cutting board

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad but...

So far so good, even though my engine burned out.

So far so good, although I did burn out a motor on the corded version of this model, (admittedly) no doubt partly from sanding drywall, including fast setting plaster which was a lot is aggressive. This guy's vacuum port that hooks up to a shop vacuum really works compared to other brands (Milwaukee, are you listening?). It's all about drywall sanding! Now if only they could find an angled cordless version with a reciprocating/shaking beetle and a cat-shaped vacuum port in the working angle…

Pros
  • Consistent results when tested
Cons
  • Could have opted for a newer model
