I use it exclusively to attach to my Nils ice auger and to drill holes for ice fish. I make about 20 holes in 12" ice on a battery when temperatures are below 20F and a few more when it's warmer. Can't beat the value for the price.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! I bought this product for my husband. When trying to register a drill and get a lifetime warranty, Ridgid Tools reported that Midwest Tool Co is not an authorized reseller and that a lifetime warranty is not available. The best they could do was three years.
