My dog thought our last remote control was a tasty snack, so we were in dire need of a replacement. This is exactly the model we needed, just put the batteries in and everything worked perfectly.

Our dog ate our remote control and I thought it would cost a fortune to buy another one. This remote control is exactly the same as the other. It was cheap and worked without any tweaking. Batteries in and boom done, great.

Works just like the original, no problem. I can say that it seems a bit cheaper than the original, but for the price it's very good. While the puppy was sitting, this remote control broke twice. These replacements are an inexpensive and quick option

I lost my original remote when I was moving and needed a new one to control the subwoofer. This remote control looks the same as the original HT-CT290 soundbar remote control. Requires 2 AAA batteries and is ready to use. Not complicated. Synchronization is not required.

Had to add this remote as the grandkids had lost the other (or accidentally thrown it away) and it supposedly worked without having to do anything other than point at the soundbar. However, for a while now, when I switch it from TV to Bluetooth, it doesn't disconnect from Bluetooth. In other words, the login no longer works. Well it works when it flashes but doesn't return to the TV. I don't know what to do now as it only works in bluetooth mode now.

After our dog chewed on our original Sony remote and got his hands on a $30 replacement from Sony, we decided to go the cheaper route with this remote . So far we have no complaints. It worked right out of the box. Only new batteries need to be inserted. How long that will take remains to be seen. It doesn't feel as essential as the original remote, but if it continues to work (assuming we remember to keep it out of dog's reach), we can't complain.
