Factory Replacement. as useful as the original and a good backup. the price is good. If you need one, get an original one that works the same as the one that came with your player.

Although it looks like a genuine remote it doesn't work with my Sony DVD player with the exact same remote. Changed batteries 3 times, doesn't work.

The remote control CANNOT be programmed for TVs other than Sony. Makes it a real hassle to watch anything on a Sony DVD as you can't change the volume on this remote. In short, you must use two controllers. NOT good and very uncomfortable.

It worked great and was pretty much identical to the factory remote but it started working sporadically after the first few months and then after about 6 Stopped working completely for months (there are no batteries - I changed them a few times to be sure).

This product works great on my Sony disc player but not on my Samsung TV. I wanted a second remote control for my wife and I.
