How nice! But I had to return the first pair of 11/M (which I usually wear) and exchange for 11/W. Problem solved. The shoes themselves are of the best quality. For what I paid for them I think I got a lot of value.

They are the perfect everyday shoe for wide feet, plus they have great stability and structural integrity. The quality of the material is good. I would buy them again in dark tobacco or dark grey.

The shoes are very heavy and uncomfortable. I tried to put them on several times but they hurt my legs. I had to send them back. The heel was also very loose.

At first I wasn't sure I'd like them, but they wear out pretty quickly once you're ready to take long walks in them. They are very persistent on surfaces like concrete and marble. I haven't tested the waterproofing but the outsole seems well made and the suede and canvas material on the upper feels well stitched. No rough edges and nothing frayed. The tongue is a bit shorter than I would like and the insole is a bit stiff. Aside from these quibbles, I have no complaints.

Nowhere is there a good selection of size 16 shoes that I would wear. Most of the time they are boring. I wore black loafers for 30 years and when I retired I said "Enough!". I came across these shoes while looking for something new and I'm glad I found them. They are well made, comfortable and not boring. I think the only thing I have is that the color is less yellow and more mustard, but beggars can't choose. Now I need a light green pair to complete the rainbow in my closet.
